Honored as the first Department of Defense Mentor Protege sponsored by the United States Army CECOM Software Engineering Center.

Starks Industries Inc. and its Mentor company, Advanced Systems Development, Inc. (ASD) have developed a long-term partnership that centers on meeting Department of Defense (DOD) and Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) mission requirements and capability gaps consistent with the intent of the Army Mentor Protégé Program (MPP).  The ASD/Starks Industries team has pursued joint business development strategies and solutions to support the DOD and CECOM mission. ASD CEO – Richard Bennett started ASD as a small business over 40 years ago and is committed to the ASD/Starks Industries relationship. He is actively involved in joint business pursuit and development of Starks Industries.
